In today’s world a website presenting and communicating your business or organizations message to the world is vital. Even when you know you want a website, you’re not sure how to bring all the pieces of the puzzle together to make it flow and communicate effectively to your audience. Simply Site uses a streamlined 3 stage approach that delivers cutting edge results while maintaining cost effectiveness:
Stage 1:
We discuss what exactly it is you are looking to accomplish with your website. Are you looking to use this strictly as a marketing tool or are you working towards an ecommerce solution? Are you looking to convey the feel of a large corporate entity or are you wanting to emphasize the fact that you’re a mom and pop local business? Taking your input, I present you up to 3 “themes” or designs that you can choose from. This “theme” will ultimately be your front-end, how your website looks to others. This initial communication assists both of us in developing the right type of visual for what your site will look like. Frequently people do not know what they want until they see examples, so I use this process to help eliminate many hurdles.
Stage 2:
I install Wordpress on your domain. What is Wordpress? In essence, it is an open source blog publishing application that also serves as a powerful Content Management System (CMS) Wordpress is widely used by some of the most popular websites on the internet because it instantly gives you a flexible and easily manageable back-end to your website that controls the front-end right out of the gate. This means no HTML knowledge required on your part.
After installation I go to work installing a variety of add-ons based on your needs that optimize your text, pictures, and news/updates for the search engines. I install additional add-ons that enable you to build e-mail lists, exquisite picture galleries, social networking features, contact forms, event calendars, statistics, displays and automated scheduled backups of your site. Add-ons instantly enable any other features you may have need or desire.
Stage 3:
Text. You supply us with the desired text based on the pages we have discussed adding or removing from your front-end. Since you know your business better than we do this part of the process is essential and really the only work required on your part. We can help guide you through the process but no one knows your business better than you. We then drop in your text, make any necessary adjustments, and deliver your site to you. For an additional fee we can work with you on the text for your site to ensure that it contains content that will be picked up by the engines.
The process is highly streamlined with much of the work placed squarely on our shoulders and off of mine. The end result is a highly effective and polished website that you will be proud to have as the face of your business or organization all the while connecting with your target audience on the world wide web.
